Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with ResumX. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued for premium subscriptions.

1. Refund Eligibility

You may request a full refund of your premium subscription within 14 days of your initial purchase, provided that:

  • The refund request is made within 14 calendar days of the original subscription purchase date.
  • You have not extensively used the premium features during this period. Extensive use includes creating more than three resumes or cover letters, or using more than ten AI review requests.

Refund eligibility is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that appear to abuse this policy.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to support@resumx.com with the subject line "Refund Request."
  2. Include your account email address and the reason for your refund request.
  3. Our support team will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

3. Processing Time

Once your refund request is approved, the refund will be processed through Polar, our payment processor. You can expect the refund to appear on your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Upon refund processing, your account will be immediately downgraded to the free tier.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscriptions older than 14 days: Refund requests made after the 14-day window has passed.
  • Partial months: We do not issue prorated refunds for unused portions of a billing period after cancellation.
  • Renewal charges: Automatic renewal charges are not refundable if you did not cancel before the renewal date. Please cancel your subscription before it renews to avoid being charged.
